KEPWare Software Training

This seminar is intended for those persons with prior PLC experience (Omron or other PLCs) who require training on the KEPWare development software. The class provides “hands-on” experience using a computer to develop the KEPWare Application(s) program(s). Attendees should have basic computer use skills and be familiar with the MS Windows 95/98 environment.  Day #2 will be largely devoted to customer applications.

B. INTRODUCTION TO HMI and DDE CONCEPTS
    1) Types of software available.
    2) Computer system requirements for KEPWare.
    3) PLC system communications requirements and configuration.
C. KEPWare DDE SOFTWARE
    1) Description and installation of DDE Server.
    2) OFF-LINE configuration of the DDE Server package.
        a) Description of the sample DDC configuration.
        b) Necessary PLC and TAG information.
    3) DDE Server On-Line functions.
D.  KEPWare HMI SOFTWARE
    1) Description and installation of HMI software.
    2) OFF-LINE configuration of the HMI software.
        a) Description of the sample DDC configuration.
        b) Necessary PLC and TAG information.
E. Running the Sample HMI program.
    1) Control of PLC functions.
    2) Display of PLC Numeric data.
